Association of Senior Library and Information Professionals (ASLIP)

The Association of Senior Library and Information Professionals (ASLIP) is a registered body of library professionals devoted to the cause of development of the profession and professionals. It is a unique platform designed especially for younger, senior and retired library professionals.  Most of the present senior ASLIP members serve as Advisor/ Consultants/ Expert members in various organizations. ASLIP provides an exclusive network of seasoned library professionals who have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience throughout their careers. It intends to have special interest in mutual social interaction and harmony amongst Senior Library Professionals to satisfy their urge to continue contributing to the profession be of use to students, scholars and the society at large and developing friendship relations. ASLIP has members from India as well as abroad. It has ambitious plan to enroll members from 250 countries of the 7 continents of the globe, thus making a unique association of global status.
